This museum is an excellent parody of avant-garde art exhibitions from the second half of last century. Vulgarity and perversion without evident talent, which might have provoked half a century ago, are combined with failed attempts at graffiti and the familiar canvases with random and meaningless splashes of colour. We burst into laughter at the "sculpture" exhibition - as you'd expect just random objects scattered in a room. The museum is a great joke, but at least there are a couple of really good paintings by Elina Merenmies to somewhat make it worth the €10 entry fee for this Rickroll of museums.

Liked it but it's not my favourite museum in Helsinki. Good place to bring kids there is a corner for them to play. Free with museum card.

A small museum which every now and then has something great to offer.

A surprisingly varied and satisfying gallery. Worth a visit. Points if interest to us were the 60's Finnish fashion, furniture, house building, art collection.
