A gentle heartwarming wind from the past would be proper introduction to this bar / cafeteria. It's like a time capsule from the times when things were simpler and honest.
This establishment is a rarity and genuine diamond among the modern cold capitalism environment where places are designed just to make more money. I really enjoyed visiting this place. Everything here is total opposite of modern nonsense business models what people are expected to follow if you find a new business. This venue has a heart and a sould - a meaning and a story to tell.
The history of this establishment is strongly tied to a band called Hurriganes and its founder Remu Aaltonen which happens to be the son of recently deceased bartender Eeva which was the owner of this establishment. Her husband continues operating this establishment.
This establishment is a pilgrimage place for Hurriganes fans who are searching for something truly special of Remu - the founder of the band. And there's plenty of special things to find here. Even though the main purpose is to serve customers and sell various things to them it's just adorable how much stuff you can find here.
I strongly recommend to visit here if you're a fan of the band and want to find truly Finnish bar/cafe that its so honest from service point of view and from selection. Don't expect to find five star establishment here. This is a relaxing and quiet place for common people.
