If it is your first time coming in to this Massage Envy, you get the "introductory rate" which is $49, with tax it is over $50. You don't get a 60 min massage, you only get 50 minutes of " hands on time". This is just the start, this introductory rate means right after you come out of your 50 minute massage, you will be pushed into signing a contract to be a "member", which frankly takes all the relaxation of a massage away. Everything about this place is to make money, they underpay and overwork their massage therapists. The front desk employees are 18-21 year old girls who are obnoxious and are know it all. They will call out "members" about credit cards on the account which have been declined in front of everyone else in the reception area. Keep in mind this a franchise, you will not be getting any kind of personal attention here. The front desk girls will gossip constantly about certain members and people who come in, real professional right? Stay away from this scam, stick to a privately owned massage place, you will get much better prices on the long run and you will get that one on one attention that you deserve. Massage Envy in Closter is a shame.

I've been a member for well over a year now. There are a couple of therapists that I will not use again, but others I love going back to. I've always been very self concsious about my body, and being unclothed in front of people. From the first session, my fears and unease were put to rest. Everyone is very professional, my girlfriend and I start our "Girly Saturdays" at Massage Envy, then head off to get pedicures and lunch! It's a perfect day all around!

I've been going to Massage Envy in Closter for the past 4 months. My best friend and I won giftcards at a raffle. I dont know what I would do without their facials. I don't feel self concious anymore. My skin is a lot clearer and it makes me proud. I have an appointment again on Thursday. I can't wait to go!
