A nice little place that we visited a few time throughout the last year, on some nights they have live music and thou their prices may be a little high on some drinks, if you consider live music that makes the price more reasonable. They also have food items, thou it is such a big turn off to serve those foods with store bought low quality potato chips. I get it, you don't have a kitchen to make good fresh fries, then forget the chips, sell the food item for less without chips or serve it with good quality bread when appropriate. About the music, a variety of small jazz/pop/rock/singer bands from all over the greater area. Usually the sound is well balanced and good quality, and the atmosphere is cosy, pleasant.

An eclectic mix of old and new; craft cocktails, European beer selection, tasty little bar menu and unique entertainment all at a reasonable price; Has a definite 1930's German cabaret feel. Attracts a pretty diverse crowd, no one seems to feel out of place. I don't stop in as often as I should.

Character: that's what this place has that so many bars or restaurants lack or try to create with gimmicky styles or themes. With a well-stocked bar surrounded by gorgeous decor and wonderful people, Nick's has that sort of vibe that speaks to you on a level that's hard to ignore. And why would you?
With its small, velveteen stage in front of a cloistered and homey dining area, live music and entertainment can't feel any closer or alive unless you're a part of it yourself.
