Very nice establishment! The location and view are perfect, the food was great, if a little pricey. The only SLIGHT complaint was the shrimp and lobster Hudson had too much sauce... but it was delicious! It made a great soaker for the corn muffins though, so it overall worked out just fine! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Service was absolutely terrible. Our waitress was terribly rude. It took everything in us just to get a refill. My drink was totally empty longer than it actually had a drink in it the entire meal. My steak was cooked well done instead of the medium rare that I ordered (which they did fix and get out to me after everyone at the table had finished their food). I definitely will not be coming here again. For the price of the food there, I expected much much better service.

The location, decor, and seating are great, right by the river, with great views all around. There's a lot of great outdoor seating on a boardwalk on the waterfront. We came in with a party of 23, but they were very accommodating. For appearance, location, and service, this place is 5/5.
The food I ordered, however, wasn't great. Oysters were fresh, but bland, and the Shrimp and Lobster Newburg that my sister-in-law and I ordered just wasn't good. It was a bit watery and acidic, maybe due to the tomatoes in the dish, but that may be the nature of the dish. I'm not too sure, but for what we paid, it wasn't worth it. The Crab Melt, however, was a hit for everyone who ordered it, so I'd recommend that.

Really great food and service. The restaurant has many seating options outside right on the Riverwalk, semi-outdoor with a canopy, and indoor seating. All offer great views and atmosphere, if you go at the right time, you can catch an amazing sunset while you dine. They do have live music which is great, they play at an appropriate volume which I found very respectful. The food is great, I have liked everything I have eaten. Reasonably priced along with their beer and wine menu. Definitely recommend for anyone local or travellers looking for a great experience.

We like to have good seafood and a nice view when we're in the Wilmington area, so no Wilmington trip is complete without eating at Pilot House. The menu selection is excellent and everyone in the family always says that their dinners were delicious. We've always received great service and enjoyed the friendly staff. I suggest making a reservation, and then arrive early enough to enjoy a walk through downtown and up the river walk before you get there. Another nice thing I appreciate is that I'm usually a little surprised when the check comes and it's a little less than I would have expected for what we received. There aren't many places I can say that about! All things considered, this is my favorite place in downtown Wilmington to take the family for dinner.
