This is the most unorganized establishment in the entire universe. My lab sample was "lost" during one visit. I got back to the dentist chair during another visit and they told me I couldn't be seen. There had been a mistake with their scheduling. I got sent home. I was in the waiting room with a very sick person and a nurse told me I needed to move down several seats so I wouldn't be exposed to whatever this person had. She was quickly sanitizing everything in site. She even took my book I had brought and began wiping it down I asked what I had been exposed to, and she wouldn't tell me. You have to go in person to make an appointment pretty much. Because getting a hold of someone on the phone is impossible. You MUST confirm your appointment when they call a day or so before your appointment. If they forget to call you, you must remember to call them and confirm it for yourself. Always ask for a receipt for anything here and KEEP it!

Terrible only went as a last ditch effort to get help since I am without insurance and can not pay hardly anything out of pocket. Was completely forgotten about for hours until I went up to the desk. Just not a good staff, did not feel that cared or wanted to be helpful. Nurse was rude and doctor just rushed me and I felt very unheard. My problem is now worse but I will not go back to them. Hopefully I can find elsewhere. Do NOT recommend.

These people never answer the dang phone until you call about 6 times and then the registration people are rude and unprofessional. You shouldn't bring your problems to work. I mean really but they do have some great doctors that's about it.

If you have medicaid or are eligible for a sliding scale, this is probably one of the better options. Otherwise, there might be other options that would be better. I've had some good experiences at Med North, but also some very troubling ones. A couple of years ago they persuaded me to have a gynecological cancer screening, telling me that it would be completely free under a special program. I don't have any insurance, so I have to pay for everything out of pocket. Without my knowledge or consent they also ordered a test for chlamydia, that was not a part of the free screening. I'm 60 years old and married. Why they thought I needed that test is beyond me, but then they expected me to pay for it. I spent a lot of time trying to get them to understand that they did the test without my knowledge or consent, that I didn't need it, and that I shouldn't have to pay for it. Everything I said fell on deaf ears. I finally did a lengthy search on the internet for the highest person in the Med North hierarchy and got the name of the CEO. I found the format they use for their email addresses and inserted her name into that. Finally after a few communications back and forth with her, my bill was cleared. I shouldn't have had to go through all of that.
This was hardly a life and death situation, but it does show a fairly profound lack of concern for their patients and for ethical behavior.
The other thing that is a big problem for me with Med North is that they put some kind of chemical in the air in the building, most likely for killing germs, but I am profoundly chemical sensitive and the time spent waiting in the exam room before the doctor or nurse practitioner shows up is very long. I get sick from the chemical in the air every time I go there. I'm thinking about seeing if I can find a medical practice in the area that is more concerned about and responsive to the needs of their patients.
