The food was pretty good. I recommend the crab bisque. I had the filet with mushroom sauce. It was very flavorful, but was cooked medium rare despite me ordering medium. The center of the steak went to waste as a result. Half of my table of 8 also thought their steaks were under cooked. Unfortunately, the waiter was insulting and seemed as though we were inconveniencing him by dining there. Of course, he knew he would be getting a 20% tip regardless of his service due to the size of our party.

It's funny, this place must make most of it's money by saving on overhead alone! For a fancy steak dinner, the interior is very casual. Kind of feels like a small auditorium made for dining.
Either way, it doesn't change the fact that their food is awesome! First of all, get the crab bisque! They're known for it for a good reason - it's heavy, but delicious and with large crab chunks in the bottom. We ended up ordering the cowboy cut rib steak for 2. When you find a good bite on the rib steak, it's definitely amazing, but I felt like the entire cut was a little inconsistent (sometimes it would be dry or too chewy). Next time I'm definitely ordering the filet or the rib eye, but I will definitely be back!

Great place to enjoy the good quality steak. Nice atmosphere, great service and delicious food. They have amazing wine list. Food menu is great as well, dry aged cuts, filets and much more. Love it!

The food and the service were both excellent, and the prices are not bad by DC area standards! They cooked my filet to a perfect medium and the mashed potato and creamed spinach sides were tasty. Nice selections of wines to choose from in all price ranges. Dark chocolate mousse for dessert was heaven! So rare to find a place around here that does the whole experience well, will definitely be back.

Ray's The Steaks is good, no ifs, ands or buts. Nothing disappoints, and the service is excellent. Prices are reasonable for an Arlington-based steakhouse. That being said, nothing I had blew me away (although the mushrooms came close). This place will not let you down, but you probably won't have an out of body food experience...
