Good menu, decent prices and consistent high quality of food and service.
Rick's Cafe quickly became my favorite Cafe when I moved to Virginia two years ago. The breakfast is reasonable food, but I come back for the bacon cheeseburger and country fried steak from the menu.
I've had a dozen or more servers. All have been welcoming and attentive, even when one is manning the entire floor with ten tables to wait. That tells me the good attitude comes from the owner down.

Fast, friendly service. Walked in Saturday morning, special was Eggs Benedict, having heard of it, but never having it, ordered it, ate it, left a clean plate behind. Mission accomplished. Thinking I will be back many more weekends.

My mom had the best ribs she's ever had. My cheese steak was bomb af too. Service was great. Dude was on point with his service. Prices were good. All around a great place.

Been coming to Rick's since 1997.. that should say everything.. Rick is a great guy who donated to CHKD and cares about his customers. More like visiting family than going to restaurant. It's that damn good... And the food is worth every penny.. I highly recommend the pulled pork and the catfish...

Steven is one of the BEST waiters I have ever had. He is super fun and energetic and you can tell he loves his job which is even better when it's backed by the amazing food they sell. They serve breakfast ALL DAY and are open 24/7! The location is super convenient. They have great vegitarian options as well as bomb sweet potato fries.
