My wife and I went Friday night for dinner, New remodel looks nice but the place is extremely, extremely, loud, like a gymnasium hall with no acoustics. Not a place for a quiet relaxing dinner. Food was OK, not great. The Bar prices are way overpriced, had a bourbon Manhattan cost $14.50 ( The Federal doesn't charge that much for the exact same one) Questioned the waitress she went to check with the manager, she came back and told me that the price was correct. Because I questioned it I feel that the manager should have come to the table to explain but didn't. We split 1 appetizer, we each had the soup and salad bar and 1 drink each, total bill was 65.00+including tip. Unfortunately we won't go back

Not high class but good family setting. Food is so-so

Upon suggestions, from a local. We had the fish fry and wood fired pizza. Everything was delicious. Was able to get salad bar. Staff was friendly.

tl;dr (too long; didn't read):
The food sucked and had zero flavor...and I mean ZERO flavor.

Expanded review:

Food in our party:

- Clam Chowder
- Chicken vegetable soup
- Fried Seafood Platter
- Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo
- Salad bar

It was probably the one of the worst cups of clam chowder I've ever had. In fact, I've had much better from a can. I'm convinced the chicken vegetable soup was from a can...and I've still had better from a can.

The seafood platter had zero; and I mean ZERO, flavor. Sure...it's a plate full of fried seafood so I wasn't expecting much...but it far worst than what I was expecting.

We thought the seafood platter had zero flavor; damn....we were in for a huge surprise by the Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo. This dish had no favor as well. It actually tasted like it was just noodles, chicken & broccoli boiled in water and served that way. I was actually amazed by this dish. I've never had Alfredo sauce that had no favor.

Now I feel like I'm being nitpicky....but here goes.
The salad bar was the best thing about the meal and it wasn't great either. Carrots...they were baby carrots and they were dried out. I would think shredded carrots would be more cutout for a salad bar. The radishes were extremely dried out as well. Instead of shredded or crumbled cheese the salad bar had cubes of cheese. I thought the cubes were a poor choice...but hey...that's just my opinion.

Awesome Cheesy Portabella Mushroom.
One of the best I ever had. It was steak-like. The cheese mixture is to die for. The cheesy garlic bread is fantastic. The service is great. Limited but good draft beers. The ambiance is very New England.
