This is a nice small French brasseries. When you are there you really get the feeling of being in France. The tables may be close but that is what I found in restaurants in Paris. The service was good and the food and coffee was great. This is a great place to stop and relax when you are enjoying a day downtown for a small bite and coffee.

I am not sure how this restaurant gets 4.3 stars!! Everything about this place is below average; below average food, very slow service, very small space, noisy, only two waiting staff, of which the waiter was OK but the waitress had no affect whatsoever, they serve their soups in shallow dishes rather than a soup bowl or a cup. The prices do not match either the quality of the food or the amount served. To add to your misery, they add a 20% gratuity to your bill regardless of whether you want to reward them with a tip or not. The one star I gave here is because there is nothing worse than that. Sorry, but I am never going to recommend this place to anyone.

Great place to stop in for desserts and coffee. Busy, but because they are do good. I had a pleasant time on my first visit. Server was very attentive and set our table up for an enjoyable time. Will return. Very affordable.
Update!
Came back a month later for dinner. Amazing Steak and fries as well as beef stripes or ribs. Delicious and this place was busy. We had reservations and you definitely need it or you will be waiting. This place is great.

Based on centuries of tradition but with a sideways glance at whimsy, the flavors, textures, and presentation are superb. We shared an asparagus salad, a house smoked mussel salad, a rabbit terrine and smoked pork heart. Who knew how well thinly sliced pork heart and egg salad complement each other? And don't skip dessert. I mean it. Don't.

Fantastic country French cooking. Always reliably good meals cooked perfectly. Cocktails are pretty good and the bartender very knowledgeable. Great French wine selection. Recommend reservations as it is a small place. The roasted chicken is completely worth the extra wait.
