The favorite place in San Francisco for sunbathing on a nice day. A great place to picnic and have a cool drink and people watch. Lots of groups gather here during good weather and do all kinds of partying and athletic activities here. There aris sometimes a hot dog booth in the area, and you can grab a cup of coffee at the kiosk in front of the Conservatory of Flowers.

I've been here for concerts in the park. There's plenty of open grass to layout a blanket and enjoy music and sun. But on very hot days, the sun can easily burn and make you dehydrated so bring lots of water. This space is also great for big group picnics when there's not an event here.
