Best dentist in the country. Moved to chicago and new york in recent years, and new dentists are always impressed with dr. fong's work. Visiting SF for a week, and will drop in for a check up. Only dentist I trust.

It's really hard to choose a good dentist.
If you're not a dentist yourself, how do you know whether the person working on your teeth is actually good at his or her job? How do you know that your dentist, who may be suggesting that you get an expensive and potentially painful procedure, has your best interest at heart, rather than his or her own financial interest?
I am going to share with you why I trust and highly recommend Dr. Fong and his office.
I have known Dr. Fong since 1999, when he and his hygienist wife Diane hired me for the summer to work in their front office. I was in between high school and college at the time.
That summer, I observed firsthand the care, thoughtfulness, and diligence that Dr. Fong and Diane put into their practice. Not only were they great employers who treated their staff well, they also always put in extra effort to ensure their patients received the utmost quality of care.
Dr. Fong and Diane often worked long hours, working with patients during the day, and managing their office in the evening. Yet they would always make time to squeeze patients with urgent needs in, even if that meant they had to work through lunch or stay even later.
In 1999, computers in medical and dental offices were not the common sight that they are today, but even back then, Dr. Fong had invested in networked computers set up in all of his operating rooms, complete with speech recognition software, so that his hygienists could record and track each patient's gum recession history over time.
As long as I have known him, Dr. Fong has consistently invested in improving himself and his office for the benefit of his patients. He understands that the key to his success is to put his patients first. As he often says, ensure that patients are well taken care of, and everything else will follow.
I have been a patient and a friend of Dr. Fong and Diane for well over ten years now. In that time, I have learned how to distinguish great dentists from mediocre ones.
As in so many other professions, great dentists are passionate about their work and passionate about their patients. They push themselves to improve and go the extra mile because they care.
I can tell you from personal experience, both as a longtime patient and a former employee, that Dr. Fong is such a dentist.

Dr. Fong is a great dentist and his entire team is fantastic! I'm always skeptical of dentists when I move somewhere new, but he very quickly earned my trust and respect. His team is very kind and accommodating and they work hard to make you feel comfortable while you're there. I have recommended Dr. Fong to friends, family and coworkers and will continue to do so.
Dr. Fong is a great dentist and his entire team is fantastic! I'm always skeptical of dentists when I move somewhere new, but he very quickly earned my trust and respect. His team is very kind and accommodating and they work hard to make you feel comfortable while you're there. I have recommended Dr. Fong to friends, family and coworkers and will continue to do so.

I have been going to Dr. Fong and Diane for years now - they are the BEST. This comes from someone who stopped going to a dentist for over 20 years after extremely traumatic childhood experiences with dentists and orthodontists. The entire staff is amazing - friendly, knowledgeable and put you at ease. And they fixed all the problems created by my poor childhood oral hygiene professionals. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Fong, Diane and their team.
I have been going to Dr. Fong and Diane for years now - they are the BEST. The best dentist ever! I have been seeing Dr Fong for over 10 years and he is by far the best dentist I have ever had.
I have entrusted him to my somewhat complicated dental care from routine cleaning to crowns and root canals. He is expert at both restorative and cosmetic dentistry. I also really appreciate that he makes the investment to have the latest machinery in his office from the waiting rooms to the x-ray machines.
I just wish there were 6 stars - Dr Fong deserves it!
