My girlfriend and I were feeling tense and wanted to go for a massage but we weren't so keen about interacting and dealing with taking our clothes off and dealing with a person (sounds ridiculous but it was one of those days where dealing with people didn't sound relaxing).
We were looking up massage deals on TravelZoo and found a deal locally, bought it and drove down to San Diego to check it out. I was happy they were able to work us in the same day! Sam at Sanctuate helped us get setup, was very helpful and explanatory in how the chairs worked and even helped us in getting setup with a upsell of a facial service. We showed up when it wasn't busy but as people were showing up and we were still getting setup, she maintained a great attitude and service.
We were put in one of their couples rooms which were very nice and relaxing. I completely underestimated the chairs, they are much more than massage chair pads you buy from Costco or somewhere, these are full body massagers that utilize air, vibration, and the kneading motion to work your body as if it were a person.
We loved our experience so much, we will definitely be going again and may even purchase a monthly membership. One of the great things I saw with this place is that the memberships are sharable so you can by 4 credits per month and go 2 times by yourself and one time with a friend or partner... they're flexible like everyplace should be! Wonderful experience, will definitely be back.
