I'm in agreement with the other poor ratings including the posts on Zomato and TripAdvisor. The customer service was extremely bad and border on hostility. It's downright offensive to pay money and be treated with such disdain. I am an event planner who spends hundreds of dollars for catering service and always consider a restaurant as a potential client or to give my network a referral. I'd stay clear from this bad business. The decrePit place was old and dirty. The cashiers were unkept and appeared filthy. The location is in a high crime area. There are so many fine restaurants that offer gourmet pizza, superior customer service and cleaner facilities. Like pizza with your beer? On Folsom Blvd., try Z Pizza with its pour-your-own tap offering a variety of beer. Along with gourmet pizza, it has an extensive menu of other food fare. My all time favorite is the trendy Pizza Rock on K Street in downtown Sac. The owner beat out other chefs in Italy and won the Gold Cup. He currently holds the title for world champ. Try his award winning pizzas on the menu. They also imported their stove from Italy. Go during happy hour and score greatly reduced prices. I am often treated like royalty that I tip more than 20% after enjoying a four course meal. Don't waste your time eating faux Italian pizza at Rico's Italian Pizza when the real deal is at Pizza Rock. And don't forget, street parking is free on Sunday. Another awesome restaurant is Pieology. You can customize your own pizza by selecting the dough, toppings and sauce. They bake your personalized pizza in a wood burning fire stove. If you have not had one prepared that way, you have not lived. Give it a try and it will sure be one of your favorites. Enjoy the many offerings of the Sacramento gastronomy!

Maybe it's nostalgia, but I love Rico's pizza. The pizza here is good, thick crust pizza. The dining room is nice with a t.v. to watch sports. I thoroughly enjoyed this place.

My friend, Cheryl and I went to Riccos for lunch because that's the best Pizza around. Wish we had a Riccos in Washington. The pizza was fantastic as usual and the place was clean.

The taste is great and the pizza its presentable.. The prices are fair good sports bar and cold beer.. The cashier can work on customer service skills to be more approachable..

Since 1983, I have enjoyed this particular Rico's Pizza. Food is always good quality, very reasonably priced, friendly staff too. What else could you want? I highly recommend lunch buffet!♡
