I always come here for the bbq pork and shrimp over rice. Today I tried their mi xao don thap cam, which was delicous. So now I have two favorite dishes here. Some may complain that the bbq pork and shrimp is a "dry". It's not what I expected compared to other Vietnamese restaurants but Ive come to appreciate the simple way its cooked. I always soak the meat in siracha and soy sauce no matter where I go and it works well with the way this dish is prepared here. Their egg rolls were too greasy for me.

Had a regular combo pho and it was good but nothing spectacular.

When we got there, there was only about two other people there so service should have been a lot better than what we got. I got #68 (pork chop over rice) and #71 (egg rolls) and the food was really dry. My friend ordered fried rice and not only did it look tasteless, it was. My two other friends got different pho bowls and said that the broth was very very oil-y and their meat could have been more rare. We never seen the server/waitresss again after we got our food for refill on waters or another soda...

I've been coming here over 20 years. They have consistently delivered on the food and service. The flavor of the food has been the same as the first time I came here. Best wonton noodle soup. The service is cozy.
Are there times where they missed the spot? Sure. But I count a small handful of times out of the hundreds of times I've been here. Definitely one of my favorite "hole in the wall" places. Most highly recommended.
