One of the best dining experiences I've had in Richmond. The service was good, and the food was great. The steak was cooked perfectly. The scalloped potatoes were fantastic.

Loved eating at Comfort - really great southern food, you should definitely get the mixed fry (fried green tomatoes, okra, onions, & pickles) because it's literally perfect. Not a cheap eat for sure (entrees run about $15-20 per person), but it's worth it. Kids meals are wonderful - reasonable portions, options, and price. We love both Comfort and Pasture - both have great people, service, and food every time we have gone.

Great meatloaf. Really like this place although it can get really noisy--annoyingly so that I avoid busy times. They should really try to put in sound absorbing panels. Also, they don't have Fried Chicken in the menu. A must have comfort food, don't you think?

It's all in the name. This place has some pretty good food and it's southern style! There is a bar with a good selection of liquor and they always have some craft beer on tap. I've even seen some ciders on tap as well. The service had been wonderful each time I've gone. They are friendly and accommodating. If you plan to have a larger party for dinner, I'd recommend making reservations to be on the safe side as this place is small and can be limited.
