Great bar and restaurant inside the Marriott. Nice breakfast with hot and good coffee. Friendly servers, they offer room service and stay open late.

Very poor service. Waitress never came back to our table after taking our order. We had to flag down a manager to get our drinks, after we had already finished our meals with no apology from the manager. The meals themselves tasted good but were lukewarm at best. Would not recommend.

The food was great but the service was poor. Very slow. Two separate visits and the same thing. The prices are a little high but it wouldn't matter if the service was good, but it is not. The food however, was very good. Never enough help at the customers expense!

Great atmosphere and conveniently located to memorial auditorium. Friendly management. For the price, cocktail was disappointing; garnished with an aged lime. Fried green tomato appetizer was amazing, and sides (sweet potato fries and carrots) were delicious. Rye mac-n-cheese entree is the first dish of mac-n-cheese in my 28 years of living that I didn’t like. It was way too smoky. I felt as if I was licking a grill plate. All I could taste was smoke flavor. My husband agreed. Sadly, it was terrible, and neither of us ate it. My husband’s meatloaf was delicious, though! Service was slow. This place has a lot of potential, but needs to sharpen up the quality of some items to match the lovely setting and menu prices.

Went on a Friday night and made reservations without realizing it was a hotel restaurant. Not a deal breaker, by any means, but there are many fine restaurants in Raleigh nearby. The staff were friendly, the service was decent. The food was okay, decent beer selection. My wife and friend really enjoyed their meals, but I was disappointed with mine. The pork loin was basically a $25 small pork chop. It would have been fine at say, $12. I don't mind paying a little more for location and atmosphere, but their prices are really high. I would probably go back for dinner before a concert at the performing arts center.
