Dr. Wood has been great! He has fixed problems for me that other dentists have made while doing their work. I went to my old dentist 4 times following some work I got done to see if they could correct it. Each time they sent me home the pain would ease and then re-occur. After a year and half of pain and problems I went to Dr. Wood on a recommendation and he fixed the problem in an hour. His office is simple and he answers the phones himself, which I like because you can actually talk to him about your deal before you see him. You can ask any questions you need to and he always explains what he is doing and why and gives you your options. He's conservative about filling cavities and is willing to provide silver or tooth colored filling. I'm just sad I had to have a poor dentist before I found a good one.

If you want a great, ethical, and gentle dentist/orthodontist/oral surgeon, Dr. Wood is your guy! I have been going to Dr. Max for many years and he has always been a great, gentle, and ethical dentist. He has been my dentist, orthodontist, and oral surgeon. He did a great job fixing the damage that another dentist did. Now he makes dentist appointments comfortable for my husband, who hated to go to the dentist due to bad experiences. He is great with children, and makes going to the dentist a fun and educational experience. I have always had great experiences, and have been very grateful to have had such an ethical provider.

If you like nice, newer dentist offices don't go here. The dentist seems very experienced but I felt uncomfortable in the very cramped, very old office. All of the equipment looks very old and dusty. The dentist is also the receptionist (goes back and forth) and the waiting area wasn't very kid-friendly.

After going to numerous dentists over the past 10 years I was told over and over again that they could not help me. Then I went to Dr. Max Wood who actually knew how to fix my tooth. I had a huge white stain on the lower half of my front tooth. It bothered me since my permanent tooth had come in. I am so happy now that you can’t even see the white spot any more and it only took minutes to fix!!
