The food here was outstanding. A really diverse list of Tapas meals and a great way to share a meal with a group. I’d recommend this place!

The service here was very warm and friendly, accentuated nicely by the cozy, Spanish-inspired decor. Every bit of food that I ate was prepared exceptionally and seasoned for maximum flavor. I'm not sure how this compares to authentic Spanish fare, but I must say that I was totally floored by my meal.

Why isn't 100 stars an option? Portland has great food and Toro Bravo doesn't disappoint. Fantastic food, the best drinks, friendly staff... Couldn't get any better. If you're considering eating here, stop considering and get your name on the list. While you're waiting, have a drink upstairs. Both places are worth your time.

Fantastic food and attentive service, they know about their dishes. The two of us got the $45 tasting tapas menu - would strongly recommend it - 11+ creative and varied dishes.
Arrived at 6.45 on a Saturday and was seated in around 1.5 hrs. Great cocktail bar next door also does snacks as you wait.
From what I could over hear, the waiting time for larger parties was substantial (3hrs)

Amazing food at Toro Bravo. One of my favorites in Portland with their tapas style menu. While it's probably labeled as "Spanish", Toro Bravo is more Spanish inspired. Smaller tapas style dishes that friend and family can share. The flavors are great and I've enjoyed every dish I've ordered. Some stand out more than others, but I've never been dissatisfied. Also, the staff is very understanding if you have any issue and will make it right.
If you're lucky get the kitchen bar seats and watch the cooks prepare each plate. You will see lots of different orders and how they are prepared (well, at least a portion of the process). Also, the chefs are fun to chat as you have your meal.
