It was fun to make your own pancakes and a good distraction for our child. Entree was delicious. Pancakes weren't the best, however 5 stars for the novelty. Be prepared to wait for a table.

Really fun to cook your own pancakes, and there is a great selection of ingredients. We got pumpkin (seasonal) batter with toasted almonds, chocolate chips, and lavender honey. Also enjoyed grapefruit mimosas.

Very fun experience! If you come here you have to do the pancakes!! But if you don't like pancakes you will love the other food here! Great for all ages! Good music, and vibes.

At 8:30 am on a Tuesday there was no wait to be seated. The place was packed by 9:30. They have gluten free batter, but cooking on the same griddle as non gluten free batter was too risky. Fortunately, for $4 they do have a 3 stack gluten free pancake which they cook separately so there is no risk.
Went there on a Sunday and got there at 8 am when they open. We were seated in 10 min and served promptly. By 8:30 am the line to get in was out the door. A great place to sit with friends and discuss life even when you do not have any children with you.

Slappy Cakes was DELICIOUS! The only downside of this wonderful experience was that it was a crowded morning, understandably so. The service was wonderful! The pancakes were some of the best of my life and the chicken fried bacon was super fun to try. The rest of the food was also delicious, but if you're coming to Slappy Cakes it's gotta be pancakes, all the way!
