Food is exceptional. Amazing Burgers and the best damn fries around. HOWEVER, be prepared to wait standing on average 20 minutes. AND look forward to eating on you neighbors lap. There is very, very limited space between you and the customers to your left and right. Bad table placement. Crowded at the least.

Great beer, great food. They always have a great selection of beers on tap to choose from so your meal will always be a new experience. If Matt is behind the bar ask him for a recommendation he knows it all. Everyone talks about the dusted fries and yes they are fantastic but the real story of this place is their burgers. Each on excellent in its own way. Each meal just waiting to leave you satisfied. Enjoy.

Best fries I’ve had in Maine. The Avocado Luna was terrific. I was warned by a friend to “bring your appetite” and pass that along. Surprised there was no veggie burger now that there are such good options (ref. Clover and Little Donkey in Cambridge MA) but will go back as often as possible for the other options. Even with the small pre-lunch crowd, carrying on a conversation was a little difficult due to noise/echo but that won’t stop me going back.

Entered the building and was greeted by a "please wait to be seated" sign. I'll be first to admit I wasn't dressed nicely, but impressions make a difference. Instead of "Welcome to Nosh" or "where would you like to sit?"
I got a sassy "Can I help you?" as if I walked into the restaurant to check out the scenery. A poorly thought of question, if not overtly rude.
Quality of food for the price?
Not bad, but not so worth it.
Ordered a Nosh burger ($12) and "bacon dusted" fries ($6). Wait time wasn't long (abt. 20min) and the food came out hot.
The burgers are beef/pork mix. Not bad, but not worth $12+. That may be more preference than fact, but still.
The fries though.
Very tasty, came out hot, with a moderate portion. But instead of real bacon, they were coated in a white powder that tasted like bacon. When I asked the waitress what the powder was, whether it be dehydrated bacon fat or otherwise, I was mostly shrugged off. No answer to that question other than "it's a secret" or something along those lines.
If you're flush with cash, or more interested in beer, give this place a try.
Otherwise, skip it. You aren't missing all that much.

I'll say that the fries were amazing. If you enjoy crispy fries I'd check those out. But:
$12 oddly put together burger
$6 regular fries
not even including a drink, it cost $22!? And that is just with a low tip (and sales tax) because service was mediocre.
No, I won't be going back here unless somebody else is paying for it. Not worth the price, far from it.
