While the service was fantastic and the ambiance was nice, the food was horrible. And, how can an Irish place screw up fish and chips! The fish lumps were shaped and breaded like something out of big box store frozen food section. They were deep fried and set on a pile of fries without being properly drained. The fries may have been pretty good had it not been for all the oil that had drained off the fish. Oh well, at least the coleslaw was good...

Arrived at Pub and sat down on patio. No signs posted regarding seating assignments, next.thing we know the hostess tells us, "from now on tell the hostess your out here so we know ". Again, no signs posted. Then we ordered fish and chips which is an Irish staple along with a Reuben and chips. My Reuben was very good but my wife's Fish and fries came as dark brown as chocolate and the coleslaw had no taste. Our waitress never once offered to refill our drinks. Poor quality/food controls/ service were our experience.

special was excellent Pork Diavlo sandwich, not so Irish but very tasty and lighter than my typical order in a pub. Friendly, prompt service. Fine alternative on a night when i need to get back to room and wrap up for trip home in a.m. Would certainly come back for Shepherd's Pie on another trip.

We visited Con Murphys late on a Friday night. Great service by the staff. Fun, lively 2 story interior with 2 bars. We had the nachos, chicken fingers and 2 beers.The fingers were excellent, but the nachos had what appeared to be a bechemel sauce instead of cheese. The entire plate was poorly done. That night, we both experienced stomach issues. I can't prove that it was the food here, but we can only logically reason that it was the culprit.

Nice looking venue but we were not impressed with the service. We ordered the veggie burger and the Philly cheese steak which were tasty. We were not "wowed" and I'm not sure we'd go again which I why I'm giving 3 stars for average.
