We Love Pastor Brian & his charming wife April and of course their handsome twins! It is always an AWESOME Worship experience with good friends and a Loving Church Family! We feel Welcome and our kids are safe doing fun activities during Children's Church. We invite you to come visit us in the House of Our Lord Jesus.....

I Love this Church !! Has a awesome nursery and kids church program !! Love the Pastor and his family !! Come as your are and have coffee in our new Cafe !! You can Worship about the amazing Jesus Christ from Pastor Brian !!!!!! I was raised in this church as will as my three children.

This is a amazing group of people.
Are you wanting to find a church and afraid you might not fit in? Well this is the place to go. I know most of you dont know me from Adam but I am not a churchy person, well I for the most part, But when given the opportunity (when I am in the area) I go to this church. Brian is not just a preacher/pastor (whatever you want to call it) he is a real person, and you know what that means..He is not intimidating to talk to, he isnt one of those people who feel like is looking down there nose at you. And he isnt boring..I spent my hole childhood and youth in church and I can really appreciate a preacher who is relevant and not boring. The music at the church makes you want to dance and not cry..I have spent a few sundays there and never once have I wanted to fall asleep...lol But enough about that part, this church feels like a hug...Thats the best way I can describe it, I stayed away from churches for a long time, because my life has been far from perfect, and I always felt like I was the center of type of gossip but not here not at this church. There awesome. So if you are wanting to go and see what a church is suppose to feel like, (and be able to wear jeans) this is the place for you..Take a chance it wont kill you.. It might actually save you.. From one non churchy person to another.. :)

I absolutely love Forward Church!! The atmosphere is very friendly and the people here treat you like you are family. My family and I can't wait to attend each week. They have an excellent nursery for my 2 sons. I enjoy the high-energy music and practical teaching too. If you live in Portsmouth or the Tidewater area stop by and check out a service at Forward Church!!
