We had to leave to catch a train before anyone even came to the table to take our orders or even offense at our slam burger jokes. The train in question belongs to Metro North. A one-legged dog could eat a turkey sandwich with a side of fries, finish off half a chocolate moon pie and still have time to catch one of these ancient vehicles. We, alas, are no match for such a magnificent creature. Therefore, in honor of one-legged, turkey-loving dogs everywhere, we salute this particular Denny's with three stars, two more than we would have if we were cat people. Thank you, and good night.

Dennys is a Dennys. You don't plan for one; you end up at one. But when you're that hungry that you end up at one and the service takes sooo long that most of the people waiting have to line up till outside, you know they are short staffed. This place is short staffed all the time. The upside is. Good clean tasty food. Friendly staff but expect an hour of wait in the mornings and rush hours.

It was passed 1 am when I arrived at this 24 hours Dennys. I informed we need a table for 4. The person in charge ask us to wait. After 10 minutes waiting I asked the manager to help us. His answer was "you have to wait because is shift time". Hmmmm as a customer we need attention and the last thing we want to listen from a manager is this kind of response. That's exactly the kind of attitude that makes a business to go down in revenue. We left without being served.

This place was surprisingly decent! Although we waited a little long to be seated and seen, our waitress Nicole was nice and the food came out fresh and hot. The pancakes were very tasty! While waiting, another waitress gave my kids grapes while we were waiting for our food. This place is newly remodeled and seems to be very clean. We will be back. We were able to use a Groupon too. Not a bad experience.
