One of the best outlets in Minneapolis for purchasing food from the Middle East, especially from the east coast of the Mediterranean. For example, I always purchase the gluten free thyme mix (zaatar), the Palestinian style. Highly recommended.

Great hi-quality lamb and meats. Butchers onsite will take orders while you wait. Best pitas in town. Great middle eastern style yogurt. No specific cultural ties to Middle East and still consider it my favorite specialty grocery store. The restaurant is top shelf too as well as reasonably priced!

Pros: Beautiful market and restaurant. Clean. Friendly staff. I can't ask for more from an establishment! The food was delicious, we received it timely during the lunch rush.
Cons: No clear entrance or exits in the building make it frustrating to find parking

BEST HUMMUS. Holy Land also sells their Hummus to many stores around the state including Target. Make sure you save the packaging, because there is usually a coupon for their restaurant. The market at Holy Land is also great. They have fresh produce, a butcher, and a surprising amount of German imports. The only place I know of in Minnesota where I can regularly buy smarties--not the chalk candy, but the chocolate goodness that the rest of the modern world knows as Smarties.

Delicious Food! They have a lot of variety and they have definitely improved within the last two years.
The grocery is a bit on the pricey side. I try not to shop there because there are other grocery stores that sell most of the items cheaper.
