Beautiful walk, jog or bike ride. It is a great way to cross from loring park to Nicollet. From there you got a left to Nicollet Mall and a right to Eat Street. There is a decent playground for the little ones near the middle of the greenway. Last I was there, they have the equivalent of a peer to peer library where you can take and/or leave a book.

Perfect morning walk with the fountain and shade trees right after grabbing coffee and breakfast at Einstein Bagel that's only a 10 minute walk from there.
