Great drag shows, the photo booth is a nice touch. The dance floor is usually packed, but I could use more from the DJs. Still looking for the good house music in MKE.

Good Crowd/Drag Queens, terrible management.
I am sadly favoring 2 stars because of my experience. I arrived at DIX on a Friday evening. They have a great themed drag show. I bought a drink and enjoyed myself. It was only when I was trying to close my tab was I notified of a minimum. Apparently there are "signs" (beyond the blatant ads for Andrew Christian and the poor lighting). I was forced to buy a shot (which I didn't not take since I was about to DRIVE!!!)
If you go to DIX and intend to pace yourself pay cash or face the consequences...

Awesome place! The show was fresh, the music was a great mix of old and new, and the staff were engaging and super friendly! Also, you can watch live volleyball tournaments from the patio.🤗

Very fun bar and cool decor. Friendly staff (hi Bill!) And reasonably priced drinks. Highly recommend if you want a fun atmosphere but maybe you don't want a dance club.
