RIPOFF!! They say you HAVE to take their insurance, I left and I paid more at a legitimate renter and was much more happy.

I had an excellent experience with Rentmax, they are a very Quick and Efficient Company, very polite staff and willing to help in anyway, I will absolutely rent from them again.

We reserved this car for 6:00 because we had an early flight into Miami and website's information was open 24 hours. The confirmation email was very detailed on where we should go, but we waited and waited for a shuttle, the name of the rental was not on the board, we called for an hour straight before we finally were connected and informed that the office did not open until 7 and a shuttle would be there to pick us up at 7, (this was not included in the confirmation e-mail and would have been very appreciated.) Then when we checked in we had to pay an extra $150 for tolls ($8 a day) even though we would only use 2 days worth of tolls. We didn't buy insurance due to the insane price of toll system, which I hope actually goes completely to Miami road system. The only upside was the great deal we got on the car. And the fact that we didn't get charged for any dings that weren't ours since we didn't have insurance.

Total hussle. Stay away, they tried to force charge us the insurance and explained it was mandatory. This place is a total scam, stay away.

Worst Rental Service Ever. I got a nice Driving Toyota Camry and It was dirty and nasty on the outside and dirty and nasty on the inside. Windows were not cleaned or wiped, the tire pressure was low on the drivers back side. They left it that way and didn't fix anything. When we were renting from them, they left out a bunch of information about the rental and tried to have me sign the paperwork before reading the info. Right before I left, the employee there told us to let them know as soon as we gave the rental back, he would issue the $250 deposit back onto our card. It has now been 5 business days and I have not received my deposit back. I called yesterday and they had told me to call back at 5pm if the deposit hasn't posted. I called back and a lady answered and apologized and said the guy was new and had the wrong information. Then she proceeded to tell me that the process takes 3-5 business days, and they had already given the deposit back, and my bank was holding it. That day I went to the bank and asked them if they were holding any money and they said no, there isn't anything pending. I called back today, and a woman answered again. She told me RUDELY that it takes 3-7 business days. I asked her why I keep getting false information, and she didn't apologize and she told me that, that is the way it is. I asked her if there is any kind of proof in writing, and she said AGAIN rudely that I can find it on the website. I asked if I can speak to a manager or a boss and she told me they are unavailable.
#1 I have had horrible experiences before, but I have never written a review for anyone.
#2 If your receiving false information, you should at least receive an apology, BUT I didn't even get that.
#3 If there is someone in training that messes up once, that's fine, but 3 days in a row of bad information makes me worry.
The car itself was an amazing driver, had nice control and was good on gas. It's the customer service that I had that was horrible.
