Crab cakes were great. Everything else was substandard. The rest of the food was overpriced and unappetizing. The service was terrible and the personnel were dressed untidily. I would never go back nor recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Never been a fan of spindini, but downtown was packed and we needed a seat in front of the Yankees game. Happy hour prices in the cocktail lounge weren't bad though. Flatbread good, but mushrooms were AWFUL. Kindly enough, the manager immediately apologized and comp'd it. Otherwise, kinda slow service.
Wavered between 2 and 3 stars, but appreciated the quick and kind service after the crappy food. Apparently it was a new chef but has never been a great menu item anyway.

That should be 3.5 stars
Food - v.good
table service - very attentive
Drink selection - v.good
Only issue is prep time - maybe the kitchen has layout/work flow problems BUT the finished product is NOT over priced

True rating is 3.9. Atmosphere is great. Wine list is not extensive, but it had a few interesting choices in addition to the standards. Food was good. Service was inattentive, and made rookie mistakes. However, that is representative of a new server and shouldn't deter one from patronage.
