Every couple of months or so, when I was most in need I stopped by to get help with food. This last experience was shocking. For the first time I was literally harrased for a utility bill, told not to come back without something documenting where I sleep and in the end the only thing I could eat out of the nearly empty bag was 3 cans of vegetables, the rest was cookies, snack bars and fruit roll ups I can't eat. I was confronted by 3 hostile women, clearly willing to fight over 3 cans of vegetables. I met a woman crying in the parking lot because she didn't have a Current utility bill and was sent away with no food at all. She claimed to know someone who went there and was reporting the staff takes home the food from the Arkansas Food Bank for themselves, that's why the bags have no real food in them. They need to be reported and Pastor Kelly should be ashamed of the greed of his staff. The policy you must show proof of lease and utilities only makes certain the poorest people won't be fed. Christ will turn over your money tables.
