Good location, decent hours. The equipment isn't brand new or anything but it is a clean gym that usually isn't too crazy busy unless it is lunch time downtown. I have gone in before on a Saturday where there was only 2-3 people in there. The staff is friendly and really just stays out of your way unless you need something.

I joined this Urban Active back in December since they had a buy one year get one free deal going on. So far I have been impressed with the facilities and the staff all of whom have been friendly. I have seen many reviews from disgruntled former Urban Active customers who say that the trainers are constantly pushing people to sign up for a work out with them. This has not been my experience at all, in fact I have never been approached about about it. Today I went to the Palomar UA for the first time, since the downtown facilities are closed on Sundays and I must say I was incredibly impressed with them. There was a wide array of machines and I didn't find myself lacking any of the machines I needed. There were plenty of openings on the cardio equipment and the movie cardio room was awesome. Again here I was never pushed or approached by any trainers about signing up with them, I was left to myself to do my work out. My only complaint with the Palomar location is the $1 towel rental, which is free at the downtown UA.

Absolutely loved this gym!! A member for a year now and leaving only because I have to, I sugest this place to all my friends. It's clean, spacious, and has any machine you could need for your workouts.

They have everything anyone would need in a facility. Tanning, daycare, indoor track, weight equipment, indoor track, lap pool, fitness classes, personal trainers.

Facilities are moderate to poor.... Membership very hard to cancel. They keep charging credit cards even after the membership gets cancelled. Cheats! Say no to this gym. Also please make sure these frauds don't charge you once you cancel the membership. I blocked them and yet they charged me through another vendor. It was like Wow!!! How can somebody be soo unethical! Unethical people like these will never flourish!
