Staff was great, only reason for 2 stars. I was expecting more selection for twenty dollars a person. Severely overpriced

For the cost of dinner I'd expect better of all the dishes. For example, most of the Chinese dishes weren't any better than a local Chinese buffet. The sushi was far lower quality that the stuff you can get at Costco. Some dishes were good, but again, for the price you'd expect a lot more of them to be delicious. To top it off their soft serve ice cream was basically sweetened icy milk.

Arriving at the buffet line I noticed there were dirty plates in top of the stacks. They were immediately removed by a working who did apologize. The food was subpar. I was looking forward to the crab legs. They were dry and overcooked and appeared to be very old. Did not taste good at all. The ribs were overcooked and dry. I was not at all impressed with the food. The servers at the alcohol table paid little attention to customers standing in line.

Thought this would be a really nice buffet considering it's Mandalay Bay. Very disappointed. We happened to get there at 5:30 and expected all to be very fresh. Tasted like left overs. Not much variety and food was very "blah". Desserts were definitely day old. Waste of money. Won't be back. We ate at Ceasars Palace when we were here last and that was fantastic. A bit pricey but Amazing. Don't bother going to Mandalay Bay Buffet.
