Great pho. The place is big, but often packed. Environment itself is pretty no frills, waiter will bring you your food but pay up front.

Seemed to have good reviews about this place so I decided to try it. In my opinion, it was a waste of money.. Napkins that the utensils were wrapped in had spots on them, chicken wasn't fully cooked, sauce containers that were on the table had a bad smell..

This restaurant was my childhood but now it is not like what it used to be. The food is surely good but the service poor.
The last experience eating here with my family made us decide to give up on this restaurant. The waiters (besides one decent one) are not familiar with the menu even though I've seen them work there for a while and what contributes to that is most of them are not fluent in English or Vietnamese (My brother was told before "sorry I don't speak Chinese" when ording a Vietnamese dish from the menu of their Vietnamese restaurant"). I understand they might not love their jobs but they really let it show in their laziness to take orders (and it was in the middle of the week where there's less customers). Our order was not complex yet they managed to serve the wrong food.
The food is good, I can't deny that, but it is over priced and for a lower price you can find other authentic Vietnamese restaurants in west Hartford that is even better.
Also, last thing that bothered me, and maybe not for others, is that they have over 120 items on their menu! It is overwhelming, unorganized and you have to spend a lot of time going through them to decide on what you want.
To sum it up: poor slow service, good food but over priced and a menu that is too much to handle. Remember to wear light because it's hot in there.

Incomparable food! The long waiting line for a table reflects the high quality food and service. I never crave soup when I go out to eat; however, this place does that to me. The servings are very generous in size as well. To top it off, they have delicious bubble tea (the iced taro bubble tea is a dessert on its own, and highly addictive). If you're looking to try something new and delicious please have your lunch or dinner here! Also, the menu is huge and has tons of options :)

This place has been there forever, food is fast, fresh, and excellent. Staff really hustles here. Can definitely get busy at times, especially weekends. They make plenty of great dishes but of course people mainly come for pho. I happen to really like #36 with the egg noodles but have not had anything here I disliked. Good example of this place- came in the other day, moderately busy. We ordered 2 #36's and some fried egg rolls, they had the whole order on our table in less than 5 minutes. Recommended. Believe they are closed on Tuesdays.
