I have had Dr. Heezen for 2 years now, as the doctor I see regularly. He is thorough, inquisitive and works with me, not dictating to me as some doctors do. He clearly explains in language I can understand the pros and cons of a medication or procedure. He is polite, kind, patient-centered, not full of himself as a doctor, relatable and has a sense of humor. He respects me as an adult and intelligent enough to make decisions based on good information. I'm morbidly obese and he sees me, Carol, not all my diagnoses or labels. He's a good guy!
