We were there last Friday for dinner with the family and saw the waiter mistreating two clients and cursing horrible words at them while yelling loudly at them to leave the place. Food took a long time to get on our table, horrible service experience. Will never come back again.

Satchel's is the quintessential neighborhood dining spot! Ideal for catch up amongst friends, a happy hour glass of wine and app, or a quiet table-for-two date night, it is an oasis on an otherwise bustling 6th ave. the staff in incredibly friendly and welcoming; every new interaction feels like it's with an old friend. Distant when needed, but always just a step away, they willingly guide you through the near-daily printed menu, sure to point out the menu staples that stick around for a reason. And the wine list...it's not exhaustive, but impresses. Two easy musts; whatever rose they recommend and the chicken liver mousse. You'll be back, too...very soon!!!

The owner is really hospitable and the space is charming. The drinks are average and uninspired. The food is good but lacks vision and doesn't set itself apart from other restaurants in Denver. They do have a free bbq every month, so that's cool. The serving staff are good people.
