You gotta love an English style pub that has bookshelves behind the bar. Complete selection of all your favorite drinks. And if you are looking for a place to watch Premier League soccer games this is it.

The Old Angle is a great neighborhood bar. Always patrons but rarely crowded (except match day or world cup. It is a fantastic soccer pub). The menu appears simple but I've never had a bad meal here. Bogtrotters Doorstep is great late night food.

Unfortunately whoever was behind the bar on Saturday, earlier evening created such an impact that we will never return here. Ordered a simple drink, was rudely told they did not have it and when I asked what they had instead he simply stood their as if I was wasting his time. I went ahead and ordered a different option (first thing I could see behind the bar) and it was disgusting. I was standing at the bar a bit later socializing with friends - kept my same drink with no complaint - and was going to ask for a napkin when the bartender comes up and starts yelling at me that if I want something different I can go to a different bar (I ordered a flavored vodka + soda..... REALLY DUDE?). It was clear that he had obviously been drinking on/before his shift. This was our first stop of the night, which was horrendous to say the least. I left my nearly full, already paid for, drink on the bar top and left. Sad to hear that a place with other good reviews, from what I can tell, would hire such a person.
