The food we had was really good, interesting cocktails, which was good, it's across the street from the house used to film "A Christmas Story ".

Stopped in on a Wednesday evening. There was trivia going on, joined in as it looked fun and it was, however it was announced that trivia would no longer be offered. Had a few drinks and ordered food. Typical bar food tasted ok. Only issue I had was with the service. Only 1 bartender and she was quite unprofessional and lazy eating off to the side rather than taking care of her customers.

After our tour of the Christmas Story House, we walked across the street for a much needed Lunch / Dinner. I had a build your own Mac N Cheese, and my Fiance had the Polish boy. They were both yummy. I guess, I would add a touch of seasoning to the mac n cheese just to dress it up a bit. Other than that everything was wonderful.

The food and service at this historic inn was superb. Classic and unique comfort food. Routine, mac N cheese, sausages with pirogies, and a twist in the slinger with provides topped with burgers, sauteed onions, fried eggs and gravy

This was a great place, we stayed the night at the Christmas Story house and walked over for dinner. The food is creative and tastes amazing and the beer selection is nice as well. I definitely suggest the poutine it was smothered in cheese and gravy and topped off with bacon and an egg.
