I have been in MANY clubs over my years and there is none like ffc! It is a health and fitness club. People work out and get fit! Being in the fitness industry, I watch and observe the trainers. They pay attention to their clients, explain things, correct form, encourage and engage. They don't blabber about personal life, trips and their issues. What ever you want...it is there! Cross-fit, pool, classes, spa, and good old free weights. The locker rooms are friendly and members are actually nice and don't drop their towels all over. The staff, even in the locker room, are the real "stars" in my review!

Had a 10 year run that I thoroughly enjoyed until the manager Larry Duncan there handled a trumped up situation extremely unprofessionally, failing to do his job and look into the facts adequatey (that were obvious)...basically saying he didn't want to be bothered with it, leading to unfair treatment and a loss of membership.
And this isn't a skewered take on the situation. I'm actually being kind to the club and he with the description.
Ridiculous.

I may be jumping the gun because no place is perfect, but I've been impressed so far. The clientele is diverse and the place is super-clean. The staff seems friendly and I like all the amenities that seem to work well (such as sauna, steam room, hot showers, machines, etc). There's a space where you can do work while drinking coffee or eating (or not if you don't want to). It seems to have a positive atmosphere overall and allows for relaxation as well.

Gym is good. Internet is so crappy guys wtf? I'm using LTE to type this review AT the gjym right now. If my family is paying $200 per month for gym membership I would at least get a good wifi and a few more routers.

This gym used to be great. Unfortunately, they have way too many members. It is ALWAYS crowded, and on top of that they have public basketball leagues and swimming classes which just adds to the crowds. The facilities are excellent, but the crowd isn't worth it for me. I'm looking for a new gym which is a shame, this place used to be a place I enjoyed. Now it's just full of people on their cell phones taking pics and not working out. Save your money, people! $80/month can get you a lot in life, a crowded gym in the Gold Coast is one of those things you can purchase with that money....
