Stay away from room 308 if you want to sleep during the night! When the heat starts it sounds like a train leaving a station! As soon as the heat stops you can feel the drafts coming from the windows. Not to mention the noise coming from outside! I specifically mentioned that I need to be fresh the next day as I had few projects and the front desk person said the 308 room is good. So I trusted! By the time I realized that It is impossible to sleep there it was after midnight! It is a pitty because it is a clean and modern hotel!

Are you kidding me! What an amazing hotel! Completely updated. Amazing staff. Beautiful modern rooms! Conveniently located in The Loop.
My favorite part was the shower. I know that might be a little more information than you want....but the shower was AMAZING!
Completely updated and modern. I could have spent hours in there!

I stayed here back in December of last year and it was awesome! Easy and fast check in. Stayed on the 13th floor (creepy) but we had great views. Had to leave a day early since it started to snow profusely, but the staff was very helpful on when we should leave and if we needed an extra night stay. It's probably less than a 10 minute walk to the bean so the location was great. Wish I could stay here again for my next trip, but the check in age fluctuates. Would definitely recommend!

This was our first visit to the city and we were very pleased with this hotel. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Upon checking in, we were told we had been upgraded to a corner king room. It was very nice! It was extremely spacious and the bed was very comfortable! The only negative I would say is that it’s close to a hospital and there is some ambulance siren noise, but wasn’t too often. The concierge was very helpful with planning things to do. We also received a free buffet breakfast which was great!! The hotel is extremely convenient to shopping and restaurants. There’s even a Starbucks on the street level. I would definitely stay there again!!

I had a good 4-night stay at the Hyatt while visiting for a conference.
I was put in a room near the elevator that faced another building and had workers outside the window who would occasionally pas by the room. This surprised me because the hotel did not seem busy at any point in my stay. However, I did not ask for a new room, so I don't know what would have happened if I had.
The room also seemed fairly small for a king hotel room, but this is probably typical in the city. It was very modern, with an interesting bathroom set-up. The toilet and shower were on opposite sides of the bathroom, each behind their own door, with the sink in the middle.
The best thing about this hotel was the bed. It was one of the comfiest beds I have slept in! I have done quite a bit of traveling lately, and it seems many hotels are moving away from duvets and towards a blanket between two sheets (easier to clean I assume). This duvet was heavenly, as were the pillows. Some may not like the fact that the bed is so low (no box spring), but I didn't mind.
The biggest con was the wait for the elevator. There were ample elevators but it always seemed to take a while for them to come and, when they arrived, they did not make a sound. I was therefore very vigilant to elevator arrival and, on a handful of occasions, the button was no longer illuminated but the elevator never came! Not sure what that was about.
