It seems it closes early now (10 or 11 pm on a weekend -- was open all night before it seemed???), got rid of the Gelato and Juice bar and amazing music that was playing.. Why why why??? This *was* arguably the best place in the City as far as outdoor atmosphere. I'm hoping these changes are temporary or you read my post and change it back. I will still give you five stars with those hopes... but I will re-review shortly. PLEASE RESTORE IT TO ITS PREVIOUS GREATNESS!!!!!! If you know different than I posted please update. UPDATE: 06/2017 So sad but the whoever decided destroyed this place of its amazingness and should be completely ashamed of themselves. Just tell me why????????? I'm still going to give it five stars just to spite you whomever you are.....

I didn't know this Viagra Triangle park had a name until I happened to meet his relative at a restaurant, who told me stories about the family, and told me to go here. For years I just took it for granted, not knowing it was named after a beloved reporter. I paid my respects by taking this picture, when no one was around on a cold night.

It's kinda of a unique place. One reviewer has said it already but you can just sit down and watch the world go by. It's an ideal lunch spot for me (gotta bring your own food) on A lunch break. There is a small coffee stand there and gelato is served seasonally there as well.
