I came here with a friend to buy him a birthday beer today, which is a Thursday evening. The bar was pretty uncrowded, and the reason for that soon became clear. The blonde bar tender/server handed us menus and then proceeded to ignore us for the entire duration of our stay. I got up from my table after a lengthy wait to order a drink at the empty bar where there were 3 bar tenders chatting with each other not doing any apparent or actual work. The blonde, our alleged server, again deliberately ignored me as I waited for her at the bar. So I relocated to a different section that seemed to be manned by a different bar tender. The trashy-trucker-hat-wearing bar tender finally took my order, then talked to his friend for 10 additional minutes before giving me the wrong foamy bottled beer without a glass (which he seemed to shake up before charging me for it). This is a terrible place with worse service than I have had in a long time. Because I bar tended for several years prior to this, I tipped them anyway, though they did not deserve it. We promptly left for Bar Louie where the server, who was way busier than anyone at PhD Pub, greeted us right away, letting us know he was sorry for being super busy, but he would be right with us, which was perfectly fine with us, and frankly, far far better behavior than we had just encountered. Consumers, be apprised that you do NOT need to put up with this place. Know that right next door is far far better service. Do NOT settle for PhD (read-

Was greeted and had a great conversation with the owners (I think so). They were super cool. The staff seems pretty cool as well. They have a jukebox and a couple customers were playing Creed. Everyone was laughing though. Any bar that hates Creed and Nickleback is my kind of place. If you need to get hammered and have fun. Don't go to Bar Louie. Go to Phd.

Great prices and a great time every time I go. Staff is on top of everything; bartenders never let my drink empty and waitress never lets anything pile up. Just a good looking and fun place to go.
