The place had a very musky smell. Table was sticky and the napkins seemed really old. Our waiter took forever with our order. After we got to order it took an hour to get our food. This was for lunch on a Thursday. They were not that busy. Food did come out tasting very good and the view is very pretty.

Good food at a fair price. Great view of Shem Creek with boardwalk across marshes. Area full of active people. Extensive bar area cooled by old fashion belt driven ceiling fans. Parking tight.

I enjoyed it... First time going... Had fried shrimp and fried oysters with fries and collard greens. Happy it didn't taste like the can... Smoked turkey and I believe bacon was in it...Elijah was an awesome waiter!!!
Loved seeing the dolphins and atmosphere was great! 5 stars when I visit again and taste more food!

Very nice restaurant overlooking Shem Creek. Food good, not the best crab cakes I've ever had but pretty good. Service was good, very attentive but once you pay the bill they are done with you. Lots of parking available. Glad we came, not sure this is do over as Charleston has so much to choose from.

The food was great! But this is not a place I would recommend being a patron of unless you have lots of time to spare. We were there for 2.5hours! We arrived at 7:30 hoping to be seated outside so we could have a good view of the sunset as we ate dinner, but we waited for 1.5 hours to be seated after we were told it would be a 30 min wait. Needless to say we did not see the sunset. Then when we were finally seated, our poor waiter was busting his tail to cover all the upstairs tables by himself with only a couple of busboys helping clean and carry out dishes! Not only was our area understaffed, but the kitchen was slow. Our waiter refilled our drinks 3xs before our food ever came! Not to mention we order an appetizer of crab dip that cost $10 but it was not $10 worth. We were given a cold crab dip that was a small single portion of dip with Captain's Wafers to eat with it. If I am paying $10 for a dip, I expect pita chips or a cracker that I do not have to unwrap myself. Our waiter was great and worked hard and our entrees were great. But the experience was sub par.
