Super friendly, was literally ushered in the door. The staff were all outgoing and the food was amazing. Best burger I've had in a loonngg time. I had the mushroom Swiss and my bf had the basic burger. Both were really messy which is what I love in a burger..
The atmosphere is very outgoing and laid back. Great art work in the establishment and provides a pool table and live music.

4 of us popped in here only because we were dodging a thunderstorm. Many thanks to Mother Nature because we had a great time here. Affordable drinks, tasty food, life-sized Jenga and great tunes. High-five Mike the bartender when you see hime because he is awesome. Get the Local Dog or the Chicken Salad. Would definitely come back.

I really enjoyed this place. My crew ate there our first day in the area and it more than met our expectations for standard bar food. The lunch portions were plentiful. My burger was the most seasoned burger I've had ever! The cocktail options were great ... and pretty reasonable for the amount (like 16 Oz for 8 bucks with a pitcher $26 -- enough for 3 girls to get 2 good pours each).
It was so good we can back that night. It was a different feel from the 80s music and mixed older crowd. DJ was upstairs. Brought in an different, younger and party crowd. But nothing out of control. Nice music. And had jumbo connect four and jinga games, which was cool. Pool also!
The kitchen closes late which is helpful for late starters. Really tasty shot options. And I hate shots! Good service both day and night.

Very friendly bar tender who will call you by your first name :) for tourists the bar tender is a local and is very knowledgeable of the area and can answer any question you have. Now for the burgers they are greasy and all natural meat. Flavor of of the bacon and blue burger is out of this world a must try! Bottom line is like a family BBQ setting.

*Three Separate Reviews, chronological order*
First review - Now under new management, no longer a pasta place downtown. The food is primarily sandwiches, Burgers and hot dogs. I went in expecting pasta, but the closest thing to it was Mac and cheese. My first thought was "great, another burger place, just what downtown needs" but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a Carolina burger, and their chili and beer cheese was really good. I'm hardly a chili connoisseur so take me saying I liked the chili with a grain of salt, but being reasonably priced in a good part of town it's definitely worth a visit. The mac and cheese was good too.
Second visit edit- not sure how difficult "no coleslaw" is. I guess that's what happens when you put a bouncer as a host and waiter. After sending back my order twice for being incorrect, I just gave up. Had to take off a star for lack of consistency. I can understand that's part of adjustment but if you want to be successful through a transition, make it as smooth as possible please.
Third review - let me clarify I keep coming back here because I have a ton of gift cards, otherwise I would never come back. How can you have a pathetically short alcohol list and an extremely limited selection of food. At least have one or the other. And the food they do have isn't even good. I've watched the transition over the past couple months and honestly I don't get how this place is still in business. Don't waste your money here. I reluctantly come here as a broke college student with gift cards. There goes another star. I started with 4.
