I was at your restaurant on Tuesday night with a big group and the waitress was very rude. I ask her for her recommendation on the main dish (which is not uncommon for customers to do) and she said "I can't help you with that. You should be able to order your own food". I never had something like that happened to me at a restaurant before. I was not expecting that to hear that from our waitress. We had also asked her earlier to take a picture of us and she said "no, I have to go to the kitchen now".

This was HORRIBLE start to finish. We came all the way from Toronto, confirmed and reconfirmed the reservation, and still a table was not available when we arrived. After 15 minutes, they offered a table that wouldn't seat one person. We ordered and after 1-1/2 hours, our dinners were still not ready. After asking several times about our meal, the "manager" gave us excuses. We had no choice but to leave. We ate at our hotel instead. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably the best dining experience I've ever had in my nine years living in Buffalo. My initial reaction was how incredibly polite the host was. When we were seated, our waiter recommended a few wines that would go well with the dinner I planned to order, per my request, and was spot on. My husband and I were feeling brave and ordered the raw oysters (both of our first time trying them), and they were delicious! We shared the ribeye (which fed us both for 2 days!), and it was absolutely beautiful. It was cooked to perfection and paired perfectly with a potato, mushroom, and onion hash. We also shared the raspberry torte dessert, which was great.
All in all, you can go to a lot of places for good food, but you're not always going to find good service. This had both. We LOVED our waiter, Adam. We had a question for just about everything we ordered, and he was very knowledgeable about the menu. He shared our sense of humor while still remaining extremely professional, which just added to the experience (and let's face it - if you're going to spend a couple hundred dollars at a restaurant, you want it to be more than just good food - you want it to be an all around good experience!). Well worth it - would go back again and again.
