I live extremely close to the pru and I take the T from there sometimes. It has a lot of shopping and nice little food options that are good for lunch. It seems new shops are constantly being added. They hold a lot of events here.It is also connected to Copley place, for even more shopping. The tower is a great view of the city as well, though a bit difficult to get to. A great place to visit, but as someone who lives close I try to avoid on rainy or super cold days because it becomes extremely congested with people.

Full blocks of shopping connected by glass bridges over the streets - very important in the winter. Plenty of restaurants as well. A block from Copley Square. Great views from the Top of the Pru.

Your security team needs some serious work!!!! A while back some lady friend of mine was wrongfully a victim to a false claim of stealing from a store! The same store both times on two different occasions, and as it turned out, the store was in support of her!! Luckily the incident didn't go any further, in fact it was apparently taken care of. However she promised she would pursue charges against the Prudential Security if there is another repeat! As they say, 3 strikes, you're OUT!! So true!
This reckless charade lowered the integrity of the security! My friend should not have to fear for her safety against a system that meant to provide safety!!! And you better believe I WILL support her next time! We both have law enforcement in our family, so WATCH OUT!
In any case we feel confident there will never be any more problems with the security, as it likely was taken care of, but it really shouldn't have happened in the first place!

Very clean and sleek shopping centre at the base of the tower. As a Canadian I was excited to see that an Earl's Restaurant was opening soon. I only wish there was better signage directing visitors to the T subway station. A little tricky to find.

Really nice mall filled with tons of great shopping and restaurants. Contains stores such as Barnes & Noble, Lords and Taylor, along with a host of smaller well known shops. Had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory! Parking can get to be expensive. You can get you parking ticket validated for a reduced fee if you stay four hours or less.
