I have been searching for the perfect autonomous submarine for a long time. Generally they wind up to be to slow, and unable to dive deeper than 20 or at most 25 meters. That is, until I found these guys. The AUV Lab at MIT Sea Grant has there act together. Talk about great submarines and engineers. They have subs that can dive to the bottom of the ocean, be driven through the internet, and even submarines for teaching. Check these guys out. They are on the third floor.
