If you're looking for authentic style New Orleans Po-Boys and delicious home-cooked Louisiana meals, look no further in downtown Baton Rouge and Poor Boy Lloyd's! Every meal of ever try here is delicious to the very last bite, and the owner and wait staff are very nice and friendly.

It was just what I wanted...it's a perfect little spot. Untouched by all things considered. Great food!!!! Good service!!! Very comfortable and homely!

I liked this place, because Cajun food is my favorite. The food is delicious. I wish they had etoufee.
However, the bathroom is a hot mess. Literally hot. And the waitress was laying her head on the counter up front instead of helping us out.

When you see this place you won't expect much, rough exterior walk inside brings you back to the late 70s with ugly patterned table cloths, wood paneled walls, and a walk up counter placing your order. I order the shrimp po boy and it was amazing. Overflowing with shrimp with just the right heat. Large order of hot fries. The best part isn't the food but the old Cajun man with his accent who rings you up and is extremely grateful for your patronage. I suggest you stop trying to decide where to eat and go here!
