MJ’s Cafe is wonderful. Hot specials a couple of times per week. The best vegetarian and vegan food I have had in Baton Rouge. Very friendly staff. They know what they are doing. The specials are outstanding. Not your typical veggie food. The specials taste like something you would get in anew Orleans. Sweet and cozy atmosphere.

MJ'S ambience is reminiscent of Southern antiquities meets eclectic charm. The energy is welcoming and relaxed. They also sell antiques.
The food exceeded my taste expectations. The black bean soup and West African peanut soup were delicious. If you're looking for a Vegan/Vegetarian dining experience in Baton Rouge, I highly recommend stopping by MJ'S Cafe.

We had a wonderful experience. I had pinto bean soup and my husband had roasted corn. They were both excellent. We shared a Southwestern sandwich.fabulous. nice atmosphere. Great service
