Six of us walked in and sat at bar. Only 5 other people in there. The bartender walked in the back when he saw us and didn't come out for 15 minutes so we finally left. Too many fun places to go to tolerate that type of behavior. So sad. Service is everything.

The food is delicious (I had the crab cake sandwich. Yum!), and the drinks are great and generously poured. unpretentious and laid-back atmosphere. Staff is super friendly and attentive.

On a recent trip to Baltimore we were looking for a good place to eat. We found this place by reviews so tried to give it a shot. We were a little surprised when we first walked in, as the ambiance was not exactly what we expected. We sat down at the bar and we're immediately impressed with the service. The bartender was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. We ordered the crabcake meals, these were amazing!! I love crabcakes and honestly expected them to be decent. They were the best crabcake I have ever eaten!
Between the great service and amazing food, this place is a winner in my book! We didn't get a chance to go back but I will definitely be making a pilgramig there every time I'm in the area!!

My first ever experience here was awesome and I'll definitely be back. Went there within an hour of closing, and I really liked the bartender. He literally was engaging with everyone in the bar which was nice. He also gave a cute speech and did shots with all the guests at 2am with the lights out. Definitely some kind of regular thing they do at night it seemed. As a bartender it was a nice to see something new like that.

Came here because the place I wanted to go to was booked. Thank the Divine. This home in the wall bar was not jumping at all, but the staff was very friendly and informative. The idea of a bar membership was off putting at first, but by the end of my lunch, I changed my idea of it. Grand Mariner.... everywhere. If you like the stuff, you'll love it here. The food is amazing; they even made a vegan dish for my sister that was not on the menu. The bar is small, but fully stocked, and did I mention Grand Mariner. Whether I join or not, I will be back.
