This afternoon my teacher friends and I chose to dine at iBar to celebrate a colleague’s career milestone. We frequent this place for after work festivities as it is close to our school and fairly inexpensive. Over 12 people gathered. The food decent as always but today the customer service from the security staff and owner were terrible. We were quite offended by what we saw and experienced today.
The security guard was verbally abusive to an older gentleman (60+) as the gentleman attempted to produce his ID. Additionally when greeted, his demeanor/lack of a response was disrespectful. He purposefully ignored the polite greeting of my colleague.
Furthermore, we brought cupcakes for the celebration. We were not informed of any policy that prohibited the consumption of outside food. After dining for over an hour and spending a few hundred dollars, we were told by the server that we could not consume them. Again, this policy is not posted anywhere. To add insult to injury, the waiter was informed by same said security guard from the door who stated the owner told him to relay that message. The owner was no where to be found for further discussion.
IBar used to be a staple place for my colleagues and I. But we shall refrain from visiting in the future. A lack of respectfulness for patrons as well as a lack of professionalism in addressing customer concerns is enough to keep our staff away.

I loved this place! I am originally from the Buffalo area and was told this is the place for Buffalo wings and a taste of a Buffalo hometown bar, as 1 of the original owners was from the 716.
They did not disappoint. Served quickly. Beer was good, cold... Even had Labbatts Blue. Wings excellent and served as they would in Western NY.

Service took a long time. Staff unprofessional. A young couple worked there and they seemed more focused on each other than customers. They were out of the food I ordered even though it was listed asctgat day's special but got it in while I waited almost 45 minutes for the food. Do not park in the parking lot across from there. Your car will get towed. Metered parking is available in the immediate perimeter of the restaurant area.

Hubby and I have been satisfied customers for years. Excellent service! Feels like home because we know everyone. Long Island and wings my fave 😊

I did enjoy this place, which was visited at lunch time. The portions were more than ample and the service was attentive and pleasant-almost too attentive. It was slow in there and there weren't any other customers on that level.
I wish they would take advantage of the front or back window to provide available daylight. The view wouldn't be majestic, but would have been preferable to me over the black boards filling both window frames. Even if they'd leave just the top foot unobstructed, allowing some atmosphere-lifting daylight.
